Editorial Policy
TaxAtlas is committed to accuracy, transparency, and responsible presentation of tax information.
Accuracy Standards
We use primary sources whenever possible and corroborate with trusted secondary sources. Each country page lists the sources used to compile the data.
Update & Review
Every country entry carries a “Last verified” date — the date on which its figures were last checked against the cited primary and secondary sources. We run a rolling verification programme rather than a fixed weekly cycle: high-traffic and high-volatility jurisdictions are revisited at a minimum of every six months, and material legislative events trigger an immediate refresh. As of June 2026, every jurisdiction in the dataset has been verified within the last six months. The methodology page has the full approach.
