- Source page (the URL that captured the subscription)
- Timestamp of subscription
Email subscriptions are managed via Resend (Resend, Inc., United States). Resend processes your email under their privacy policy on our behalf.
2. Lead form submissions
When you submit the Get Help form, we collect:
- Email address
- First name (optional)
- Jurisdictions of interest (free text)
- Situation (US citizen / nomad / business owner / etc.)

Lead form submissions are forwarded to TaxAtlas Editorial via Resend. If we refer you to a third-party specialist (tax advisor, residency consultancy), we will not share your information without explicit consent.
3. Website analytics
We use datafa.st for privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics. datafa.st collects anonymous, aggregated traffic information (page views, referrers, browser/device, approximate country). No personal identifiers are collected. Their privacy policy applies.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We do not use tracking cookies or cross-site identifiers. The site uses minimal technical cookies only where required for site functionality (e.g., dark/light theme preference stored in your browser's local storage). datafa.st does not use cookies.
How we use your information
- Email subscribers: to send the cheat sheet, rate-change alerts (when material), and the occasional dispatch about new TaxAtlas research. We don't send marketing on behalf of third parties.
- Lead form submissions: to respond to your inquiry, point you to relevant TaxAtlas research, and (with your consent) refer to a specialist.
- Analytics: to understand which pages are most useful, identify technical issues, and improve the site.
What we don't do
- Sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- Share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
- Profile you for targeted advertising.
- Track you across other websites.
- Use your information for AI/ML training.
Data retention
Email subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe (every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link). Lead form submissions are retained for up to 24 months for follow-up purposes, then deleted unless you have an active referral relationship. Analytics data is aggregated and retained per datafa.st's retention policy.
